Marco Amadio

7:00 to 9:00 on the patio at the Brimont Bistro.. 24 West Main Street, Webster N.Y. ...872-3170..
( inside in the event of rain )

I was born in Rome Italy in 1966 and my parents moved to upstate NY when I was 2 years old. I started singing and playing piano at age 5 and took lessons at the Eastman School of Music from the ages of 10 to 18, coinciding with lessons from local jazz greats. My first band was formed at age 16 and I have been in one ever since. Currently I have a family which truly inspires me to be the best I can be and gives me plenty of life experiences to write about. I’m enjoying the perfect balance of Love, Life and Music and I hope my music can be an inspiration to all.  I love to sing in English, Italian or Spanish as each language has it’s own unique characteristics and takes me to a different place mentally and musically. I can only hope to convey what I feel to the audience and only then will I have done what singers/musicians set out to do. Inspiring others to feel good about life, love or even bring back precious memories, is a true gift from above. I've always believed the power of music is one of life’s best medicines.

Paradigm Shift
Paradigm Shift

8:30 to 10:30 inside the Coach Sports Bar and Grill ..  19 West Main St, Webster NY 14580.

Today's pre-eminent soul jazz trio, Paradigm Shift captures the fire of classic organ-guitar pairings like Dr. Lonnie Smith and George Benson while also propelling their spirit into the present with a decidedly modern sound. If organ-driven jazz saw its heyday in the late '60s, nobody bothered to tell Paradigm Shift bandleader/guitarist Mel Henderson or co-founder/organist Gerry Youngman. Both men cut their teeth on landmark records during that era but have also since then served as sidemen for some of the giants of the form, including none other than Dr. Lonnie Smith and Jack McDuff. Nonetheless Henderson and Youngman refuse to succumb to preservationism, setting their creative sights squarely forward rather than back. And now, with a new generation's perspective courtesy of forward-thinking drummer/composer Sean Jefferson, the band is poised to launch soul jazz into its bright, funky future while tearing up stages across the globe with boiling-hot grooves and a gritty attack that pleasantly recaptures the music's rightful street-level ambience.

“Shared Genes” is an instrumental guitar duo seeking to create an aesthetically pleasing and emotional experience in the presentation of music.

In the framework of two guitars, each as soloists and together as a duet, the music selected and presented is custom tailored, in real time, at every venue, without a written play list.  The sound may range from a delicately artistic acoustic guitar to a fuzz-laden electric guitar, and always in the right proportions at the right time.  Modern versions of songs you know, and songs you will like immediately.
